Marketing Manager II, Earner

Today San Francisco, CA

About the Role

We're looking for a Product & Brand Marketing Manager II to lead product and brand marketing for Uber Earners (Drivers and Couriers) in the US, with frameworks designed to scale globally. This role shapes and executes strategies, programs and campaigns that build earner brand satisfaction, grounded in clear product proof points and a deep understanding of earner needs.

A core responsibility is owning Only on Uber (OOU) - Uber's flagship earner product showcase program- including strategy, planning, and integrated campaign execution. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong social-first mindset and end-to-end ownership of CRM execution. This is a highly cross-functional role, partnering closely with Product, Ops, Comms, Analytics, Creative, and agency teams to bring integrated earner marketing to life.

What You'll Do

Earner Strategy & Narrative

  • Partner with the Director of Earner Product Marketing to shape US earner marketing strategy with frameworks that scale globally.
  • Develop a cohesive earner narrative that connects product improvements, operational investments, and brand storytelling under Only on Uber.
  • ### Represent the earner perspective in cross-functional conversations, grounded in audience insights.

Only on Uber (Tentpole Leadership)

  • Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of the Only on Uber event, Uber's annual earner product showcase. Shape the event narrative and integrated go-to-market plan, including pre-event, live, and post-event amplification.
  • Define channel roles with a strong emphasis on social, creators, YouTube, CRM, and owned channels.
  • ### Lead cross-functional coordination, timelines, and agency partners to deliver a high-impact moment that builds brand trust and product value.

Product Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Partner with Earner PMMs to translate product proof points into compelling value propositions for drivers and couriers.
  • Lead go-to-market execution for major earner launches or initiatives when needed.
  • Drive a year-round brand and engagement drumbeat under the Only on Uber umbrella.
  • ### Own CRM strategy and execution end-to-end and act as a hands-on writer/editor across key earner-facing channels when needed.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Measurement

  • Act as a day-to-day partner across Product, Ops, Policy, Comms, Social, and Marketing.
  • Manage agency and internal partner relationships.
  • ### Define success metrics for launches, campaigns, and tentpole moments, balancing short-term impact with long-term earner brand health.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience across product marketing and/or brand/consumer marketing, ideally in a consumer tech environment.
  • Proven experience leading go-to-market strategies, integrated campaigns, and high-visibility moments.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Creative, Research & Insights, Policy, and Communications teams.
  • ### Bachelor's degree
