Manager, Sales Analytics and Insights, Uber for Business

Today San Francisco, CA

About the Role

Uber for Business (U4B) is seeking a Manager of Sales Analytics & Insights to lead the charge in transforming how we view, interpret, and act on our commercial data. This is not a reporting role-it is a strategic leadership position designed to provide the "Single Source of Truth" for our global sales engine.

You will be the architect of our "so-what" culture. Your mission is to move beyond dashboards to deliver actionable signals that dictate where we invest, how we coach, and how we win. Sitting at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and RevOps, you will act as a strategic advisor to leadership, ensuring that every data point translates into a concrete business recommendation.

What You'll Do

- Establish the Single Source of Truth: Own the global reconciliation of pipeline, bookings, revenue, and productivity. You will drive tight alignment with XFN teams to ensure one unified version of the numbers across the entire organization.

- Drive the Global Revenue Cadence: Architect a rigorous weekly forecasting discipline (Commit/Best Case/Upside). You will move the needle from "rep judgment" to a sophisticated blend of stage-based and ML-driven forecasting.

- Deliver Performance Diagnostics: Move beyond "what happened" to "why it happened." You will conduct deep-dives into win/loss drivers, segment-level underperformance, and rep ramp-up speeds to identify root causes-not just symptoms.

- GTM Strategic Support: Provide the analytical backbone for capacity planning, working with leadership to determine exactly where to double down or pull back.

- Lead Executive Storytelling: Every output you produce must answer three questions: What happened? Why? What should we do next? You will translate complex data into high-stakes narratives for executive leadership.

- Architect Sales Productivity: Own the metrics for Fully Ramped Rep Productivity, sales cycle trends, and activity-to-outcome correlations. You will identify the specific behaviors that drive higher win rates and shorter cycles.

- Operating Model Leadership: You will embed your team as within the sales organization, ensuring analytics is not a standalone silo but a tightly integrated partner to our sales segments.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience: 6+ years in Sales/Revenue Operations, Strategy, or Business Intelligence within a high-growth B2B environment (SaaS or Marketplace).

- Analytical Powerhouse: Mastery of SQL and Python. You must be able to manage large-scale data in Snowflake/BigQuery and synthesize it into business-ready insights.

- Predictive Acumen: Demonstrated experience in time-series forecasting, regression analysis, and building predictive signals (e.g., pipeline coverage and conversion trends).

- Visualization & BI: High proficiency in Tableau or Looker. You believe that if a leader has to export data to Excel to understand it, the system is broken.

- Tech Stack Mastery: Deep experience with Salesforce (CRM) and Gong (Sales Engagement). Familiarity with Clari or Anaplan is a significant plus.

- Business Judgment: You think like a GM. You can spot the difference between a coverage issue and a deal-quality issue and recommend the right enablement or pricing change to fix it.

- Facilitation & Influence: Extraordinary communication skills. You can hold your own in a room with Sales VPs and Finance leads, driving consensus through data.
