About the Role
The Central Ops team, in collaboration with Strategy & Planning (S&P) and the Local Operations teams, leads the strategy and operations of Uber's Mobility business across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Operations is all about running our business on the ground and helping our riders and driver partners get the most out of Uber's platform.
In the Mobility Central Ops Marketplace team, you will lead the Pricing Tech Pod, responsible for managing Uber's dynamic pricing levers and ensuring pricing systems drive strong marketplace, financial, and reliability outcomes across EMEA. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and product, you'll shape how pricing adapts to real-time conditions and long-term priorities. We're looking for a strategic, data-driven problem solver who can connect complex analysis to clear business action, collaborate across regional and product teams, and continuously enhance pricing performance, accuracy, and impact.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points
---- What the Candidate Will Do ----
- Develop a deep understanding of Uber's dynamic pricing systems and how they influence both supply and demand across diverse markets.
- Co-own the regional dynamic pricing strategy and execution, collaborating with global product, strategy & planning, and operations teams.
- Build and evolve frameworks to measure pricing performance, diagnose issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with Product and Data Science teams to shape the roadmap of dynamic pricing, representing the needs and realities of EMEA markets.
- Lead analytical workstreams and cross-functional projects that enhance pricing precision, marketplace balance, and overall business performance.
- Translate insights from diagnostics and experiments into clear recommendations for regional and global stakeholders.
- Act as a thought partner for leadership and cross-functional teams, providing guidance on pricing strategy, market dynamics, and policy alignment.
---- Basic Qualifications ----
- Minimum of 6-8 years of work experience in an analytical role (Data Analytics, Data Science, Consulting, Tech Operations and similar)
- Strong analytical undergraduate degree, preferably in Data Science / Mathematics / Computer Science / Econometrics / Engineering
---- Preferred Qualifications ----
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
- Strategic & operational problem solving & creativity - you will design solutions that scale to multiple markets
- Robust technical skills and analytical thinking: Intermediate SQL required, ability to scope and guide complex analyses
- Strong collaborative mindset, good communication skills and desire to work with cross-functional teams
