Legal Director Mexico

Today Mexico City, Mexico

About the Role

The Legal Director for Mexico leads the legal strategy for one of Uber's most vital and complex global markets. You will own the whole legal landscape for Uber Rides, Uber Eats, and all new initiatives, operating at the intersection of fast-paced business innovation and a fluid regulatory environment. This role requires sharp judgment, business acumen, risk tolerance, and the ability to influence other stakeholders as the business operates at an urgent pace.

This is not a role for following a playbook; you will be writing one in real-time for a rapidly evolving, high-stakes environment. You'll navigate critical litigation, major policy shifts, and the pressure of public scrutiny, making decisions that have immediate real-world impact on millions of users and earners, while managing a team. The challenge of building trust and driving the business forward in this high-growth environment is what makes this work so profoundly meaningful.
