Lead Client Partner - Uber Advertising, Enterprise Restaurants
About the Role
Selling advertising at Uber isn't about pitching a standard deck; it's about bridging the digital and physical worlds for the most iconic brands on the planet. As the Lead Client Partner for McDonald's, you will be the global architect of a landmark partnership. This isn't a role for someone who wants a polished playbook-it's for a "global quarterback" who can navigate the messy, high-stakes complexity of a C-suite relationship and build something from the ground up.
You'll own the global ads strategy for one of our most significant partners, driving adoption across our Mobility and Delivery platforms. This role is a pressure cooker of ambiguity and opportunity. You will need to move fast, stay resilient when negotiations get tough, and lead through influence rather than control. If you are a creative storyteller who stays calm under the weight of massive expectations, this is where you'll do career-defining work.
What You'll Do
- Quarterback a Global Giant: Own the end-to-end global ads sales strategy for McDonald's, navigating complex sales cycles across multiple continents and internal teams (Legal, Ops, Product).
- Sell the Unproven: Pitch our most innovative, bespoke, and newest advertising solutions. You'll need to turn technical complexity into a compelling narrative before the "standard" version even exists.
- Navigate High-Stakes Dynamics: Build net-new relationships with Director, VP, and C-level marketing executives, earning trust quickly in an environment where priorities shift overnight.
- Influence the Roadmap: Act as the voice of the customer, providing the "unfiltered" feedback to Product and GTM teams that will directly shape the future of Uber Advertising.
- Drive Commercial Creativity: Move beyond transactional quotas to identify and scale joint business opportunities that create mutual value for both McDonald's and Uber's global ecosystem.
- Be a Force Multiplier: Formalize your expertise into sales playbooks and mentor others, elevating the entire organization's performance across global markets.
- Own the Messy Execution: Manage the tension between long-term strategic growth and the immediate, daily pressure of a fast-moving marketplace.
