LatAm Sr Operations Manager, Driver

About the Role

You'll be joining the Driver Access team, responsible for ensuring earners have a seamless onboarding experience into our platform - from the moment they sign up to their first trip.

In this role, you'll lead Regulatory initiatives from an Ops perspective across LatAm, owning this problem space end-to-end: from structuring and prioritizing complex regulatory challenges to executing high-impact projects.

You'll also work closely with cross-functional and local teams on funnel configurations and market launches, helping scale solutions that work across diverse markets.

What the Candidate Will Do

- Own and structure Regulations as a formal problem space within Driver Access, defining strategy, priorities, and operating models.
- Lead components of large, cross-functional regulatory initiatives, including Tech partnerships, onboarding funnel changes, and downstream Driver impacts (e.g., earnings, acquisition strategy).
- Own the monitoring, performance, and ongoing support of regulatory rails, ensuring operational stability and scalability.

- Scope ambiguous and complex problems, leveraging robust analysis to design end-to-end, scalable solutions.
- Partner closely with the Driver Access team to deliver against shared goals, contributing to and supporting the team's core mandates and rails.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional and regional partners (e.g., Eats, Central Ops, S&P, Marketing, CommOps, Policy, Comms, Legal), driving alignment and execution.

Basic Qualifications

- Years of Experience/Industries: 5+ years of professional experience, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Data-Driven Mentality: Ability to make strategic decisions grounded in data, with hands-on experience diving deep into analysis while maintaining a strong big-picture perspective.
- Executional Excellence: Ability to optimally manage and prioritize complex operations that require the support of peers and other teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, while maintaining high-quality work standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including senior partners across Tech, Legal, and Operations, ensuring alignment and driving execution.
- Teamwork: Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and work well in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex topics into clear, concise narratives tailored to different audiences, including senior leadership. English proficiency is required; Spanish is a plus.
- Analytics: Experience working with complex data sets using Excel and/or Google Sheets; ability to derive, validate, and synthesize insights into clear recommendations. SQL is a plus.
- Planning & Organization:Ability to plan complex or multi-faceted projects with cross-functional teams, defining timelines, deliverables, interdependencies, and resource allocation
