Head, Fleet Performance
About the Team
The IndiaSA Mobility team is at the forefront of cracking Uber's most complex and rewarding challenges. This isn't about cutting and pasting from a playbook-it's about writing the playbook for one of Uber's most critical markets. You will join a team of passionate, smart, and driven leaders who love to #GoGetIt and make magic happen in the Uber marketplace.
About the Role
This critical role is instrumental in shaping Uber's future growth in one of its most dynamic and high-potential regions. As the Head of Fleet Performance for India, you will lead our ambitious mission to build a strong fleet business and foster strong relationships with B2B operators. In a market characterized by intense local competition and significant opportunity, we are seeking a visionary leader who is operationally adept, growth-oriented, and deeply connected to the local landscape.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Uber's local fleet operations across India's cities. This includes driving growth of vehicles from existing fleet operators, maximising the throughput of these vehicles on the platform, and ensuring the operators are able to run a highly efficient ground ops business with healthy margin profiles. This pivotal role demands a leader capable of orchestrating immediate, strong, and efficient fleet performance while simultaneously laying the groundwork for sustainable, long-term unit economics and expansion of the large and medium fleet operators in India.
As a key member of the IndiaSA Operations Leadership Team, you will bring profound earner (fleet and driver) empathy, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making to address our most complex business challenges. You will manage a high-performing team and collaborate with cross-functional partners, both locally and globally, influencing product roadmaps and ensuring the voice of Indian earners (fleets and drivers) is heard throughout Uber.
