Growth Manager - Consumer Demand & Analytics (Uber Eats)

1 week ago Stockholm, Sweden

About the Role

At Uber, we close the gap between the digital and physical worlds to move people and things in real time. As the Consumer Growth Lead for Sweden, you will shape and execute the demand and consumer growth strategy to position Uber Eats as the preferred food delivery platform in the market. This isn't a role where you follow a polished playbook-it's one where you help write it. You will own high-impact initiatives spanning large-scale data analysis, complex problem-solving, and the end-to-end execution of growth programs that reach millions of Eaters.

This role is ideal for an analytical self-starter who thrives on ownership and is energized by a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment. The work is deeply rewarding but operationally complex; you must be comfortable moving seamlessly between high-level P&L strategy and gritty, hands-on implementation. We operate at global scale under real-world constraints, meaning you will need to make smart, high-stakes decisions with imperfect information. If you possess a low-ego, collaborative mindset, a relentless curiosity, and the resilience to navigate shifting market priorities, this is where you'll grow.

What You'll Do

- Navigate Complex Data Environments: Autonomously extract, manipulate, and model large datasets using advanced SQL to uncover deep insights into consumer behavior and demand dynamics.

- Drive Strategic Investment: Evaluate the performance of demand-generation budgets and P&L dynamics, making high-quality, quantitative trade-offs to optimize user acquisition, retention, and engagement.

- Build Scalable Infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain robust dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and ensure data-driven decision-making across teams.

- Run Rigorous Experiments: Formulate hypotheses, design, and evaluate structural marketplace experiments, balancing speed with statistical precision to continuously optimize conversion and return on investment.

- Execute High-Stakes Campaigns: Own and deploy end-to-end lifecycle growth programs across owned channels (In-app, CRM, etc.), managing the operational messiness and tight timelines of an explosive growth market.

- Influence Without Authority: Act as the central connector across Sweden's senior leadership, Strategy & Planning, Strategic Finance, and global growth teams, navigating internal friction and aligning conflicting stakeholder priorities.

- Champion Operational Excellence: Translate unstructured, ambiguous growth problems into highly focused frameworks and actionable execution plans, maintaining an uncompromising eye for detail when pressure is high.

Basic Qualifications

- Educational Background: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Econometrics, or an equivalent quantitative discipline.

- Data & Analytics Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, navigating multi-layered databases) and exceptional Excel/Google Sheets capabilities for managing large datasets.

- Analytical Experience: Proven professional experience running quantitative data analysis, business modeling, and market experiments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Problem Solving & Framework Generation: Strong ability to convert highly ambiguous customer or business challenges into structured, actionable strategies while balancing short-term tactical needs with long-term financial sustainability.

- Resilient Execution & Detail Orientation: A track record of operating efficiently within fast-moving, dynamic environments, showcasing a diligent approach to data accuracy alongside swift execution.

- Strategic Stakeholder Management: Experience building rapid rapport with cross-functional partners and leadership, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and push back effectively using data.

- Customer Obsession & Curiosity: A natural inclination to self-start, investigate root causes, master new analytical tools, and build processes deeply rooted in consumer needs.
