Growth & Expansion Team Lead
About the Role

As a Business Development Team Lead, you will play a critical role in leading the expansion of Uber's activities and the elevation of its profile within your region. You will lead a high-performing team of coordinators, serving as a strategic interface between supply channels, internal stakeholders, and business partners. This role is particularly rewarding and requires a nuanced, sophisticated approach to navigate the intricate market dynamics of MENA.
What YouWill Do
- Communicate and set clear expectations with team members
- Coach and develop sales agents
- Understand local Ops strategies and ensure team operations are aligned to maximize impact
- Drive strategic plans to improve team performance
- Work with stakeholders in Ops and Sales for reviewing output and pushing sales strategy/tactics down to CommOps team
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of sales or account management experience (For External Candidate)
- 2+ years of sales or account management experience (For Internal Candidate)
- At least 1 year of people management experience
- Fluency in both Arabic and English
- People development and coaching experience in team environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with ability to manage through ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B/B2C sales environments
- Experience in project management
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective stakeholder management skills
- High level of ownership and accountability
