Group Product Manager, Uber Travel

3 days ago Seattle, WA

This job is no longer available.

About the Role

At Uber, we believe travel should feel effortless. We start by being the app you trust for every ride - reliable, clear, and built for peace of mind. From there, we grow into more: the place where every leg of your journey comes together, where planning feels seamless, and where real-time information keeps us assistive and adaptive in the moments that matter most. As that trust deepens, Uber becomes more than mobility - it becomes the companion that helps you move. Step by step, ride by ride, Uber is here to make every journey connected, confident, and rewarding.

As the Group Product Manager for Uber Travel, you will lead the vision and execution for how millions of users plan, book, and experience their journeys-from the first mile to the last. In 2026, Uber Travel is more than just airport rides. We are building a seamless, end-to-end travel ecosystem and we're looking for someone to carve the pathway in the Travel space for Uber. You will lead a high-performing team of Product Managers to build world-class booking and assistive flows, personalized travel itineraries, and deep integrations with global travel partners.

In this role, you'll work closely with Product Design, Data Science, Engineering, Business teams and other partners across Uber's businesses and geographies. You will lead with deep customer insights and empathy, relying on data and UXR to make informed decisions grounded in strong product intuition. You'll be both creative and bring deep expertise in consumer product to the table, as well as analytically rigorous, driving experimentation and knowing your metrics. You'll operate with an owner's mindset, obsessing over every detail of the end-to-end experience.

What the Candidate Will Do

- Set the North Star: Define how and where Uber plays in the travel space - a multi-year strategy and product roadmap for Uber Travel.
- Lead & Mentor: Directly manage and grow a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of high ownership, customer obsession and excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

- Customer obsession. You have a knack for taking on complex product challenges and finding elegant solutions that are delightfully simple for our users.
- Strategic - See the forest and the trees. You are strategic and can zoom in and out of the details as needed
- A growth and execution mindset. You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master disambiguator/simplifier, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on.
- A high bar across the board. From your own contributions to the people you work with, to the products you work on, you have a never-ending desire to grow and learn.
- Attention to detail. Obsess over every pixel and underlying detail that drives the way users experience Uber Eats. No problem is too big or to small.
- Finger-tippiness with data. You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to demonstrate this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
- Hands-on experience working with marketplaces systems
- A true passion for Uber's mission, our products, and the company's hybrid technology/operations nature.
- A never-ending desire to grow and learn.
