Group Product Manager, Moto (2-Wheel Rides)
About the Role
The Moto product - passenger rides on scooters and motorcycles - is Uber's fastest-growing global Rides offering. In markets like India, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and across Africa, two-wheel mobility is the preferred choice for millions of Uber riders. This role is a rare opportunity to lead a high-impact vertical that is both technically complex and strategically central to Uber's growth trajectory.
We're looking for a Group Product Manager to own and scale the Moto business globally - setting product vision, leading a team of PMs, and driving execution across core domains like rider and driver experience, marketplace performance, growth, and international expansion.
You'll both lead a team directly and partner closely with other core teams including Marketplace, Rider, Safety, Maps, and Operations, while working with senior leaders across the company to ensure Moto is positioned to thrive. This is a critical and highly visible role driving alignment across product, operations, and engineering.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Own the global product strategy and roadmap for Moto, Uber's most dynamic rides product
- Lead and develop a team of PMs directly, while also leading a broader cross-company PM group through influence and alignment
- Partner closely with engineering, design, data science, operations, and regional GMs to deliver compelling features that scale across many countries
- Drive growth and retention in core markets like India, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Africa
- Create compelling features and product elements that increase rider and driver engagement in a highly competitive market
- Optimize the two-wheel experience through ranking, dispatch, pricing, and matching algorithms
- Navigate trade-offs between unit economics, user experience, and marketplace efficiency
- Collaborate across functions to localize features, incorporate regulatory constraints, and ensure safety, compliance, and operational reliability
- Represent the Moto business in company-wide planning forums and drive alignment at the executive level
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years directly managing a team of PM's
- Demonstrated success in consumer product roles with strong UX instincts
- Hands-on experience working with marketplaces or ranking-based systems
- Proven ability to drive outcomes in transaction-driven product environments
- Strong analytical depth - experimentation, A/B testing, metrics fluency
- Excellent communication skills - especially cross-functional influence and leadership visibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching or operating in international markets
- Familiarity with mobility, logistics, or geo-enabled platforms
- Experience navigating regulatory or safety-critical product domains
- Technical fluency around matching, routing, and pricing systems
