GL Specialist I

About the Role

The Community Operations organization at Uber is responsible for providing world-class support to our driver community. As a Greenlight Specialist, you'll be a key part of this team, working in one of our Greenlight Hubs. These hubs are essential for onboarding new drivers, building engagement with our platform, and acting as a central point for drivers in their city. You'll help our driver partners achieve their goals, strengthen their connection to the platform, and support Uber's overall growth.

What You'll Do

• Customer Support & Driver Growth: Provide personalized, world-class support while proactively onboarding new drivers across Austria and promoting the value of the Uber platform.
• Operational Excellence & Problem Solving: Act as a subject matter expert by monitoring real-time operations, resolving or escalating stakeholder issues, and providing feedback to optimize team processes.
• Partner Success & Local Execution: Empower drivers and partners to succeed on the platform while supporting the planning and execution of local events and promotions.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in customer service is an advantage.
• Languages: Fluent in German and good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aptitude: High level of empathy and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Approach: Ensuring a customer-oriented approach through adaptability and conflict management.
• Execution: Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Collaboration: Strong teamwork and collaborative skills.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy.
