Enterprise Account Executive, Uber Direct
About the Role
Uber Direct is continuing to transform the way delivery is done around the world by allowing brands to leverage Uber's fleet to offer on demand, same day, scheduled, and next day delivery to their customers through their existing websites or apps and ecommerce platforms. We are seeking an Account Executive/Sales Specialist to help further the growth of our business for our Enterprise Restaurant Partnerships.
You will serve as a trusted ally to our Merchant Partners, understanding their needs and unlocking opportunities for them to grow their business through the power of our platform. You will work collaboratively with operations, product, account management, other technical counterparts, and business units to establish a pipeline and close.
What You'll Do
- Develop a pipeline of top merchants to target across the Food vertical, focusing on growing their business, improving their operations and making them advocates;
- Identify prospective merchant business requirements and develop and pitch competitive proposals (i.e. pricing, decks, RFPs etc.)
- Lead contract negotiations
- Act as the partner's point of contact to understand their pain points, product features, inquiries, resolving conflicts, and providing solutions in a timely manner;
- Collaborate with Uber Direct leadership to set organizational strategy and build and operationalize critical business processes; and
- Travel up to 20% per quarter surrounding recurring Business Reviews / Partner syncs as needed
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of quota-carrying experience
- Technical sales experience (API integrations, etc.)
- Experience selling in the Mid-Market or Enterprise space (1,000+ employees or $500M+ in revenue)
- Experience selling into or partnering with large, complex enterprise brands and organizations
- Experience with delivery, retail and/or third-party marketplaces at a high-growth tech company
- Strength in creating narratives and using data to tell stories
- Experience leading conversations with executive level external partners
- Ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers
- Ability to flex your analytical skills and use data to quantify opportunities and influence decision makers
- Strength in cross-functional team work and the ability to manage up
- Speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity

For Los Angeles, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$101,000 per year - USD$111,500 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$112,000 per year - USD$124,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$112,000 per year - USD$124,000 per year.
