We are seeking a Deal Desk Senior Associate to be the operational and commercial architect for our largest, most strategic advertiser and agency partnerships-specifically focusing on Upfronts and Joint Business Planning (JBP) programs globally.
This is a high-impact, commercially-focused role responsible for the strategy, structure, and ongoing operations of our multi-year, high-value commitments. What You'll Do

- Serve as the Deal Desk specialist for all Upfront/JBP proposals, ensuring deals adhere to internal guardrails for pricing, inventory, legal compliance, and profitability
- Design and implement the global operational processes and systems (leveraging CRM) required to track deal attainment, measure benefit usage, and ensure accurate reporting on program performance against committed goals
- Act as the primary commercial quarterback, partnering closely with Legal, Accounting, Finance, and Uber Ads Leadership to secure timely approvals, validate revenue recognition, and mitigate commercial risk in JBP/Upfront contracts
- Develop compelling internal communications, training, and presentation materials for the Sales organization on the structure, value proposition, and execution best practices for Upfront/JBP programs
- Continuously develop and refine deal approval workflows, contract templates, and rules of engagement to increase sales velocity and rigor for strategic agreements
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Advertising Sales, Deal Desk, Commercial Operations, Finance, Consulting, or Revenue Strategy
- Strong data analysis skills
- Excel proficiency
- Direct experience and understanding of commercial structures for large advertising Upfronts, Joint Business Plans (JBPs), or similar strategic media commitments (e.g., volume discounts, bundled benefits, performance guarantees)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex commercial concepts into clear, high-impact presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in marketing or advertising industry
- Experience negotiating Advertising Deal Structures
- Understanding of commercial terms, pricing strategies, and the downstream implications of deal structures on finance and accounting
