\-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ----
1. Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
2. Utilize Python to automate data workflows and perform data analysis and extrapolation.
3. Integrate various data sources and APIs to contribute to real-time data monitoring and automation solutions.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven strategies and business decisions.
5. Aid in the preparation and maintenance of detailed reporting models and dashboards.
6. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth within Uber Ads.
7. Assist in designing and implementing data automation frameworks to enhance operational processes.
\-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ----
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and manipulation.
3. Strong skills in Python, with a focus on data extraction, transformation, and automation.
4. Experience working with APIs to collect and integrate data into systems.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Effective communication skills with the ability to present technical data insights clearly.
\-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ----
1. 1-2 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
2. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker is a plus.
3. Understanding of digital advertising or media analytics is advantageous.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$122,000 per year - USD$135,500 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$135,000 per year - USD$150,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$135,000 per year - USD$150,000 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$135,000 per year - USD$150,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
