Corporate Communications Manager, Executive Storytelling and Social Media

Today San Francisco, CA

About the Role

We are looking for a gifted writer and high-impact comms strategist to set direction and provide hands-on support for executive-level storytelling, primarily through social media. Reporting directly to Uber's head of corporate communications, this person will partner closely with members of our executive leadership team and their staff, as well as comms and social media leads across the company, to identify the best moments and channels for leaders to "go direct." They will build content calendars, issues platforms, and channel strategies, helping to sharpen each leader's distinct voice.

About the Team

The most successful technology companies are forward-thinking storytellers who can effectively engage business, technical, and consumer audiences alike to illustrate the magic behind-and the benefits of-their products.

Our team is responsible for telling Uber's story, whether it's transforming how we get around and supporting the lives of people who value independent, flexible work; helping reduce congestion in cities and complement public transportation; or empowering local commerce through our delivery offerings. This work is about building deep relationships with key journalists and opinion leaders, and partnering across the company to create campaigns that tell our story in new and effective ways.
