Catalog Ops Analyst

About the Role

The primary goal and responsibility will be to ensure experience excellence for our customers in terms of various domains, including assortment, pricing, promotions, content, availability, and search.

The Catalog Analyst works empirically, finding explanations and solutions in the data, through pilots and trial and error. Knows how to work in groups within catalog, business development, operations, or commercial partners. Knows how to set priorities, and acts fast and decisively.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Data-Driven Insights: Extract actionable insights from available data in order to support local catalog excellency.
  • Develop Processes: Develop and implement processes that empower our team to manage and improve KPIs.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with all other local teams to develop operational projects that drive catalog improvements, while understanding the business need.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of business experience driving scaled operations, strategy, or project/program management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint mainly).
  • Advanced SQL Skills.
  • Proficient English speaker

Bonus Points

  • Prior experience working with catalogs at an e-commerce or technology company.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in the local language and in English, to clearly communicate and drive consensus across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem solving mindset; ability to identify problems, determine the correct analysis to assess them and come up with solutions.
  • Leadership skills; involve everyone needed to implement action plans. Teamwork is key.
  • Organizational skills; be able to divide projects into small chronological tasks making sure to follow up and follow through.
  • Be data driven and action oriented.
  • Multitasking; leading more than one project at the same time.
  • Good business and analytical logic; be able to foresee the impact of projects in different areas of the company.
  • Understanding the context and impact of a project and being able to set priorities.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and an ability to operate autonomously.
  • Intermediate Python skills or other process automation toolings
