About the Role

The Uber marketing team is the beating heart of the brand at a local level. This is the team who helps to future nurture the category leader and build brand love in Germany. This exciting new role contains the unique opportunity to build brand impact locally, by supporting city expansions, lead marketing campaigns, drive impactful partnerships and on ground activations (attention spikes). What the Candidate Will Do: Need / Bonus Points

1. Build and execute compelling marketing plans focusing on brand growth activations, delightful partnerships, city launches and the respective marketing campaigns.

2. Identify and activate best-in-class brand activations that drive preference and loyalty for Uber

3. Work with key stakeholders to execute campaigns: Local and central marketing teams, creative agencies, local operations managers, PR, Policy, Content & Social, CRM and Performance Marketing.

4. Participate in content production for your local campaigns defining the right tone of voice for Uber

What the Candidate Will Need / Basic Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years in consumer marketing, brand marketing, or related experience with a successful record of delivering work with measurable business results on time and on budget.

2. Excellent project management skills to juggle many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items.

3. Strong cross-functional communicator: You know how to engage with key counterparts, sell-in an idea with impactful docs/decks but at the same time being able to accept feedback with a positive attitude.

4. Analytical mindset with a results-driven approach: Comfortable working with performance data and brand health metrics to evaluate impact, uncover insights, and continuously optimize marketing strategies.

5. Business acumen: Willingness and know-how to deeply understand the German mobility landscape, its drivers and barriers, Uber, its customers and competition to then translate these insights into your marketing initiatives.

6. Eye for design and best in class execution: creative and copywriting skills to develop engaging growth and brand campaigns.

7. An "owner" personality that is biased toward action & taming calculated risks.

8. Ability to succeed in an environment of ambiguity and capability to adapt positively to changing circumstances, moving fast, adapt, and thrive.

9. Fluent German and Business English are a must

Preferred Qualifications / Bonus Points:

1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or equivalent experience. An advanced degree is a plus.

2. Experience in a brand management environment with 360° campaign development, including creative and media agency management and budget ownership.

3. Additional experience in a high growth environment is a plus.
