Ad Operations Specialist
About the Role
The ideal candidate has strong ad operations experience, including campaign activation, performance, strategy, and planning. In this role, you will work closely with the Partner Manager team to ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly and deliver successfully, exceeding goals and KPIs. In order to achieve that, you may be required to have a hands-on approach setting up campaigns autonomously in our Ad Server or coordinating with our ad operations specialists team offshore. In addition, you will also serve as the liaison between the Audience Strategy and Creative teams as well as Engineering and Tech Operations.
Part of this role requires the candidate to have a consultative approach supporting our Partner Manager team, by removing operational blockers, escalating technical issues and improving campaign performance. You will also participate at product testings and launches, development of SOPs and training materials for both the Campaign & Creative Services team as well as the Partner Manager team.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver flawless ad execution for our Rider and Eats apps advertising products
- Ownholistic campaign setup, ad trafficking, QA and troubleshooting across an assigned Sales Pod
- Coordination of offshore ad operations specialists to guarantee campaign success and performance
- Function as ad operations consultant for Partner Managers to ensure campaign fulfillment and performance along with upsell proposals
- Monitor patterns and collect feedback to proactively surface proposals to improve quality, productivity and efficiency
- Participate in cross-functional team decisions including new product launches and testings
- Work with Product and Engineering to identify changes to internal Ad systems/tools that reduce the occurrence and impact of bottlenecks
- Devise strategies to improve ways of working with partner teams, increasing efficiency and quality of ad campaigns
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in Ad Operations, preferably within a digital or technology focused business
- Experience working with Google Ads Manager (GAM) or similar program
- Experience working with Google Shopping Ads
- Experience with tag management and third party trackers, MMP & Ad Verification partners

- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Programmatic Advertising experience
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce
- Proficiency in SQL, Looker, PowerBI, Tableau or similar program
- Strong project management capabilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with many teams
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$95,500 per year - USD$106,250 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
