Ad Operations Specialist
About the Role
We're looking for an Ad Operations Specialist with a strong foundation in campaign activation, performance optimization, strategy, and planning. In this role, you'll partner closely with the Partner Manager team to ensure advertising campaigns are executed smoothly, delivered successfully, and exceed goals and KPIs.
You'll take a hands-on approach-either setting up campaigns directly in our ad server or coordinating with our offshore Ad Operations specialists. You'll also act as a key connector across teams, collaborating with Audience Strategy, Creative, Engineering, and Tech Operations to ensure seamless execution.
This role has a strong consultative element. You'll help Partner Managers remove operational blockers, escalate technical issues when needed, and continuously improve campaign performance. You'll also contribute to product testing and launches, as well as the development of SOPs and training materials for both Ad Operations and Partner Manager teams.
What You'll Do
- Execute and support high-quality ad campaigns from setup through delivery
- Partner with Partner Managers to ensure campaigns meet performance goals and KPIs
- Own or coordinate campaign setup, trafficking, QA, and troubleshooting
- Serve as a trusted Ad Operations consultant, helping resolve operational and technical challenges
- Monitor performance patterns and gather feedback to recommend improvements to quality, efficiency, and productivity
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve internal ad systems and tools
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives, including new product tests and launches
- Help develop and maintain SOPs and training materials for Ad Operations and Partner Manager teams
What You'll Need
Basic Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in an Ad Operations role, ideally within a data-driven or tech-focused organization
- Strong data-driven mindset with solid quantitative skills
- Working knowledge of campaign fundamentals, including brand safety, ad viewability, and fraud prevention
- Hands-on experience in digital advertising operations
- Proficiency in English
- Experience with tag management and third-party trackers
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfort working cross-functionally with diverse teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Google Ad Manager (GAM) and video ad products
- Familiarity with mobile app advertising environments
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
What Sets You Apart
- Customer-obsessed mindset with a passion for creating great user and merchant experiences
- Ability to move quickly, adapt easily, and balance competing priorities
- Collaborative and communicative approach, with comfort navigating both technical and non-technical stakeholders
