About the Role

The Account Manager role is a great opportunity to demonstrate your relationship and portfolio management skills for the assigned territory. This role focuses on post-sales of Global Business, deepening the relationship with our restaurant partners to increase retention as well as driving business growth, with mutually beneficial outcomes.

Account Managers are critical to retaining our highest value accounts, ensuring partners are successful on our platform and exploiting opportunities to improve core business metrics for our restaurants and for Uber Eats.

Lead High-Impact Account Management: Take full ownership of a select portfolio of top-tier restaurant partners across global markets. Drive strategic growth initiatives, ensuring alignment between partner objectives and Uber Eats' business goals.

Strategic Relationship Development: Build and sustain long-term relationships with key decision-makers within partner organizations. Act as the trusted advisor and go-to expert, ensuring our partners thrive on the platform.

Revenue Growth and Performance: Take accountability for achieving and exceeding revenue and retention targets. Lead efforts to upsell new features and drive deeper value for both partners and Uber Eats. Leverage data to optimize strategies and continuously improve key performance metrics.

Voice of the Customer: Serve as the advocate for our restaurant partners within Uber Eats, translating their needs and feedback into actionable insights. Build and maintain a strong network with internal teams to influence product and service developments.

Drive Business Reviews and Performance Reporting: Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with key partners, tracking and reporting on performance metrics. Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancements in operational effectiveness.

Thought Leadership and Strategy: Be a key strategic partner to senior leadership both internally and with restaurant partners, providing insights on trends, challenges, and opportunities in the restaurant delivery space.

---- Basic Qualifications ----

Proven Expertise: 2+ years of experience in account management or a commercial function, preferably within the tech, restaurant, or delivery industries.

Customer-Facing Excellence: Strong track record in leading complex, long-term partnerships and delivering on ambitious revenue targets. You are adept at managing large, global client portfolios with ease and professionalism.

Data-Driven Decision Maker: Demonstrated ability to make informed, data-led decisions that drive business performance. Comfortable navigating complex data sets to optimize partner success.

Executive Communication & Presence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong executive presence. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and partner network.

Strategic Project Management: Expertise in developing and executing detailed business plans. Strong project management capabilities with a proven ability to lead initiatives to successful outcomes.

Results-Oriented and Self-Sufficient: Highly autonomous and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A proactive leader who can manage competing priorities and deliver exceptional results.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in Spanish and Business English.

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

Industry Experience: Experience working with QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) clients or large-scale restaurant operations.

SQL Proficiency: Ability to work with basic SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes.
