Job Description

Uber is reimagining the way the world moves for the better, and Uber's Legal Team is proud to be an integral part of that change. Our vision is for Uber to be the industry leader where inclusion drives innovation, and our platform empowers people to move ahead in life. Legal works hand-in-hand with teams and leaders across the company, serving as expert business partners and trusted counselors.

About the Role:

As part of Uber's 2026 1L summer associate program, you'll have the unique opportunity to gain exposure to both our in-house legal team and one of our partnering law firms. You will engage in a broad spectrum of legal work with our in-house team and receive professional training, mentorship, and meaningful networking opportunities.

The structure of the law firm component will vary by partnering firm. Following your firm placement, you will spend 4-5 weeks with Uber's in-house team. For both portions of the program, you will be working out of our San Francisco offices.

Our 2026 partnering law firms:

  • Covington & Burling LLP
  • Kirkland & Ellis LLP
