Role Overview

Tradeweb is seeking a Revenue and Audit Assurance Specialist to join our Finance team. This role will play a key part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Tradeweb's financial reporting through meticulous balance sheet reconciliations, journal preparation, and correct revenue recognition. The position also involves managing billing processes, including the review and processing of credits and rebills, as well as supporting the testing and implementation of our new billing system, Zuora.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional with a strong technical foundation in audit and accounting-ideally gained from a Big 4 public accounting firm-to apply their expertise within a dynamic, global fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Revenue Accounting & Recognition
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP and company policy.
  • Review and reconcile key revenue accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Support the monthly close process by preparing and reviewing journal entries related to revenue, deferred revenue, and billing adjustments.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly, ensuring all balances are fully substantiated.
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all reconciliations.

• Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or audit, preferably within a Big 4 public accounting firm or a financial services organization.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
  • Experience with billing systems or ERP platforms (e.g., Zuora, Oracle, SAP) is highly desirable.
• Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and exposure to data analysis tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and desire to improve processes.
