Group Details

The APA business, live since January 2018, counts most of the tier one investment firms among our client base of ~90 firms. We are a small team, working closely together to deliver a market-leading service.

Our success is achieved by enthusiastic, committed and bright team members, all of whom multitask client queries with internal system development against a backdrop of ever evolving regulatory changes in the Trade Reporting space.

Job Responsibilities

• Front-line support for the APA service with buy and sell-side firms
• Timely support of incoming enquiries from firms covering APA service/product/ regulatory topics
• Day-to-day support of "on-boarding" process for new firms, and general readiness of firms to go live
• Responsible for calls with new member firms re: testing and on-boarding
• Ongoing knowledge and understanding of the APA test environment & working knowledge of the Business and Technical specs
• Writing business requirement documents for new features
• QA & UAT testing of enhancements prior to release
• Building effective relationships with participating firms and multiple internal teams
• Developing understanding of the specific regulations around UK or EU post-trade transparency
• Longer-term expectation to be involved in the evolution and expansion of the services offered

• Self-motivation and "can-do attitude" with ability to "learn on the job"
• Natural organizational skills
• Strong team player, motivated to support others within the APA group
• Good knowledge / practical experience of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint & Word
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective and professional relationships both internally and externally
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail is critical
• Determination to move up the learning curve and take on increased responsibilities and ownership

Advantageous skills:

• Experience gained from working within financial services
• Data analytics skills, including tools such as Tableau, Coralogix etc.
