Who we're looking for
Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is hiring a Senior Engineer to support our Technology Operations Center (TOC) Platforms-primarily focused on our DigitalCare platform powered by ServiceNow. We're looking for a seasoned ServiceNow developer who communicates effectively with both technical and business teams, builds scalable and secure solutions, and is eager to grow within a collaborative environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering impact, driving improvements, and exploring new features and capabilities within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
What you'll be doing
- Contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of the DigitalCare (ServiceNow) platform
- Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Implement workflows, automations, and integrations across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HAM/SAM, etc.)
- Design data flows and integrations using APIs and other data exchange mechanisms
- Identify opportunities to streamline platform performance, improve usability, and expand capabilities
- Participate in defining engineering standards and improving development practices across the team
What you bring
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development and integration experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing ITSM and Asset Management (HAM/SAM).
- Deep integration experience using REST, SOAP, WebHooks, Pub/Sub (Kafka), API Gateways/Service Mesh, and other connectors.
- Active Certified System Administrator (CSA) or the ability to obtain shortly after starting.
- Active Certified Application Developer (CAD) or the ability to obtain shortly after starting.
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
- Clear, concise, and collaborative communication style.
- Open to giving and receiving honest feedback.
Added bonus if you have
- Experience working in Agile environments using Jira.
- Active Implementation Specialist certifications in areas such as ITSM, HAM, SAM, VR, EM, or Discovery.
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
