Who we're looking for
The Toyota Financial Services Technology Operations Center is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Site Reliability Engineer, Lead - Integration Services
Reporting to the Manager of SRE Departments, the individual in this role will be focused on enterprise integration platforms and ensuring resilience, automation, and observability for messaging, API, and forms-based systems.
You'll play a key role in maintaining and modernizing our integration stack, including systems like TIBCO, Camel, API Services Platform/MuleSoft with understanding of streaming services like Kafka (MSK), while actively contributing to our strategic migration initiatives for various technology stack.
What you'll be doing
- Operate, Optimize, Monitor, and Scale integration and messaging platforms including: MuleSoft, Apache Camel, Tibco, Kafka (MSK), JBoss services
- Support for in-house developed APIs and COTS applications/platforms including Document Management System, Rightfax etc.
- Build and Maintain components required to Automate operational workflows and reduce toil using Python or equivalent scripting language
- Define and manage SLIs/SLOs, health checks, and automated remediation processes
- Establish and manage observability and monitoring using Dynatrace, CloudWatch, and logging systems
- Collaborate across teams to ensure service reliability, deployment hygiene, and operational readiness
- Work on Incident Postmortems and coordinate to implement required fixes to avoid repetitive incidents
- Participate in on-call rotations, Major Incident Restoration
- Build and Maintain components required to Automate operational workflows and reduce toil using Python or equivalent scripting language

What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field
- Solid understanding of SRE concepts: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident response
- Strong experience with 2 or more of the following: Kafka (MSK/Confluent), TIBCO (e.g., BW, EMS), MuleSoft or similar API platform, Apache Camel
- Proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting languages such as Bash or Ansible for automation
- Strong understanding and experience in API development in Java or Groovy
- Experience with any of the following observability tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, or Prometheus
- Background in enterprise middleware, event-driven architecture, or hybrid cloud integration
Added bonus if you have
- Understanding integration security standards such as OAuth2, JWT, etc.
