Who we're looking for

The TFS Identity and Access Management (IAM) Department is seeking a motivated Junior IAM Governance Analyst to support the team in maintaining and improving IAM governance and compliance efforts. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to grow their skills in IAM, compliance, and security governance within a collaborative environment.

Reporting to the IAM Governance Manager, you will assist with the implementation and management of IAM governance policies, procedures, and controls to help ensure consistent and effective IAM practices across the organization.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in maintaining IAM policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring documentation is up to date and accessible to stakeholders.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of IAM governance reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Help prepare documentation and evidence for internal and external audits related to IAM compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify and track IAM compliance issues and assist with remediation efforts.
  • Participate in user access reviews and support role-based access control initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve and automate IAM governance processes.
  • Provide general support to the IAM team on governance-related tasks and inquiries.

What you bring

  • Bachelors degree in related field or commensurate experience.
  • Experience in Information Security, Compliance, IT, or related fields. Related experience through internships, coursework, or relevant entry-level positions are considered. (Up to 2 years)
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic familiarity and understanding with security compliance (IAM or related fields).
  • Basic understanding of IT auditing.

Added bonus if you have

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (or currently pursuing) in Cyber Security or related areas.
  • Prior consulting experience is highly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of security concepts and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, or NIST.
  • Exposure to IAM tools like Active Directory, SailPoint, Okta, or similar.
  • Interest or experience in data analysis or reporting.
  • Any relevant certifications or coursework in cybersecurity or compliance (e.g., Security+, CISA in progress)
