Who we're looking for
Toyota's Body PE Planning Digital Twin team is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to generate & facilitate outputs of the Body PE Planning Digital Twin team for all BW North American Manufacturing Facilities.

Reporting to the Body PE Digital Twin Manager, the person in this role will support the Body PE department's objective of providing accurate 3D Models, 2D layouts and Logistics Simulations to the Body PE organization to be leveraged for new model study.
What you'll be doing
- Update and maintain 2D layouts in AutoCAD
- Support Logistics Simulations utilizing FlexSim software platform
- Support gathering and maintenance of Logistics information in Digital Twin Line Spec database
- Perform field laser scanning and data collection to support Line Constraints database
- Support team output KPIs
- Support Digital Factory team to update virtual plant model to match floor condition
- Able to support & meet deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects
- Provide feedback to facilitate group development
- Ability to travel up to 25% to support work at NAMCs.
- Ability to work 25% Overtime with peak periods of 50% or more
- Ability to work weekends, holiday periods, and shutdown periods to support to support SE Project work, or installations and trial activity as well as evenings to support and attend meetings with overseas business partners.
What you bring
- Associates degree or higher
- At least 1 year of Toyota Body PE Engineering experience inclusive of team member, contingent worker and/or co-op term.
What you may bring
- Advanced Engineering Degree
- Experience in another manufacturing discipline (Stamping, Paint, Assembly, etc.)
- Body Shop Project / Mass Production Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in Body Engineering Planning/Logistics Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in Body PE Process Engineering group
- Project experience with automated / robotic process equipment
- FlexSim software experience
- General vehicle body structure & processing knowledge
- Catia, Delmia, or Carrot3 experience
