Who we're looking for
Toyota's Information Technology Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Digital Engineering Autodesk Lead to support the Digital Engineering Platform (DEP) team.
This role will report to the Digital Engineering Platform Lead and will be responsible for the administration, deployment, and support of Autodesk applications and Vault server environments across Toyota's enterprise. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in Autodesk tools and will lead upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance and availability of Autodesk systems.
What you'll be doing
- Lead administration and upgrades of Autodesk Vault server environments.
- Provide hands-on and remote technical support for Autodesk applications including Vault Professional, AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks, Revit, and Factory Design Utilities.
- Collaborate with packaging teams to package, test, and deploy Autodesk applications.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to ensure application availability.
- Respond to user support requests and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain documentation for standards, policies, and processes.
- Manage server security, access control, and configuration.
- Plan and implement future Autodesk releases in coordination with platform strategy.
- Maintain strong relationships with team members, management, and end users.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Associates Level Degree
- 2 years of experience supporting Autodesk applications and Vault server environments
- Strong understanding of Autodesk product suite and enterprise deployment practices
- 2 years experience with system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- 1 year experience documenting technical processes and standards
Added bonus if you have
- Experience or certification with AWS-hosted environments or VDI platforms
- Familiarity with engineering workloads and applications such as CAD, CAE, CATIA,MBSE, EDA
- SCRUM or Agile certifications
- Autodesk certifications or professional training
