Vendor Management Analyst - AI Data Service Operations

About the Team
The AI Data Service and Operations team provides data annotation and search operations services that support international products. The team works closely with business, product, operations, and external vendor partners to deliver high-quality, scalable, and compliant services across multiple markets.
As the team continues to evolve toward a more strategic operations model, we are looking for a Vendor Management Analyst who can combine strong data analysis, performance diagnosis, and stakeholder management to improve vendor delivery and business outcomes.

About the Role
As a Vendor Management Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing vendor performance, identifying operational opportunities, and converting data insights into clear action plans. You will partner with business stakeholders and vendor teams to monitor service health, diagnose performance gaps, and support governance routines that drive accountability, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, asking the right business questions, and influencing teams through facts, structured analysis, and practical recommendations.

What You Will Do
- Build and maintain performance dashboards, reporting views, and recurring analysis to track vendor delivery across quality, productivity, SLA, cost, risk, and operational health metrics.
- Use SQL and analytical tools to investigate performance trends, identify root causes behind metric movement, and translate findings into business-ready insights.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended action plans for internal business teams and external partners.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational priorities, define success metrics, and ensure vendor performance analysis supports business decision-making.
- Partner with vendor managers, operations teams, procurement, finance, and other cross-functional teams to improve service delivery, governance, and execution discipline.
- Develop structured performance improvement plans based on data findings, including issue diagnosis, action tracking, owner alignment, and follow-up mechanisms.
- Support vendor management strategies by evaluating vendor capability, delivery consistency, operational risk, and improvement opportunities across sites, lines of business, or regions.
- Standardize reporting processes, metric definitions, and analytical frameworks to improve transparency and consistency in vendor governance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in vendor management analysis, partner operations, business operations, performance analysis, strategy operations, or a similar analytical operations role.
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to extract, clean, join, and analyze data independently.
- Experience building dashboards or automated reporting using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Superset, Excel, or similar BI platforms.
- Proven experience in performance analysis, including metric monitoring, trend diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and performance improvement recommendations.
- Strong communication skills in English and Strong stakeholder management skills, especially when working with business teams, cross-functional partners, and external vendors.
- Good understanding of vendor management principles, including performance governance, KPI management, risk tracking, improvement planning, and business review routines.

Preferred Qualification(s)
- Experience supporting BPO, data annotation, content operations, trust and safety, search operations, customer operations, or other outsourced service environments.
- Ability to connect operational metrics with business impact, and to explain analysis clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
