Responsibilities

About the team
The user growth team is a multiple functional and regional team and we take responsibility for driving user growth by including but not limited to product, marketing, and partnership approaches, not only focusing on new user acquisition but also focusing on users' retention.

Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate high-risk legal matters; assist the UG team in determining risk mitigation plans, reducing business decision-making difficulty, and improving decision-making efficiency.
2. Identify high-risk business areas and frequent compliance issues (including data privacy); build a key compliance Knowledge Base for the UG team; and ensure business plan safety through collaboration with the corporate legal & compliance team.
3. Assist the UG product team in optimizing PRD quality, and draft/optimize legal & compliance templates (e.g., risk escalation decision evaluation forms).
4. Systematize and optimize SOPs for high-risk matter decision escalation, enabling pre-communication/assessment to enhance risk evaluation efficiency for UG projects.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM) degree.
2. Minimum 5 years of legal experience in data privacy and platform liability.
3. Proven experience navigating legal ambiguity in fast-paced technology environments - including areas where internet laws are evolving or inconsistently enforced (e.g., cross-border data transfers, platform liability, user consent frameworks, algorithmic regulation, or content moderation). Candidates should demonstrate the ability to interpret unclear regulatory frameworks and provide sound legal guidance in situations where established legal precedents may not exist.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Preferred legal and compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions.
