The Special Project and PMO team take a strategic approach to driving impact cross-functionally across TikTok. They work with multiple business units and senior stakeholders including, but not limited to, Category, Partnerships, Strategy, Governance & Experience and Data Science. This team drives forward business growth and operational efficiency by providing significant business diagnosis and practical solutions through the use of analytical insights.

We are seeking a motivated, highly analytical individual who prides themselves on being the go-to problem solver in fast-paced, dynamic environment. This person will be someone who can work both autonomously and collaboratively to leverage insights from analysis and help grow our platform. They will utilise effective communication to liaise with Key Leaders across the business with clear, concise and structured proposals for establishing processes, strategic initiatives and target setting.

Responsibilities:
- Understand the commerce growth history in Italian markets, identify strategic opportunities, and optimize overall business efficiency.
- Undertake strategic operation projects and analysis, linking strategies in various fields including industries, partners and products.
- Taking a data-driven approach to establish business analysis frameworks, monitoring the progress of key indicators, business opportunities and risk and providing solid business diagnosis and practical solutions.
- Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis, provide recommendations and provide support for business growth through internal and external research and competitor benchmarking.
- Organize the team to explore best practices, abstract effective operational methodologies applicable locally, promote cross-team learning within the business, and strengthen knowledge transfer among new and existing employees.
- Collaborate closely with all cross-functional teams, be familiar with the work plans and priorities of each team, and assist business leaders in making decisions on key projects, strategies, and executions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Detail orientated Business Analyst with demonstrable experience working in one or more of the following; Operational Strategy, Management Consulting, Investments, Growth Strategies, Commercial Analysis.
- Excellent logical analysis ability - Data-sensitive; possessing strong user perspectives; understands local retail and ecommerce markets.
- Prior experience impacting business decisions through analytical insight in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.
- Experience communicating with businesses at both an operational and stakeholder level.
- Fluency in English and Italian

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge/understanding of business models similar to TikTok and other content-based platforms.
- Experience working in a consumer focused environment e.g Commerce, Retail, FMCG, Social Media, Technology, Entertainment.
