TikTok Shop - Solutions Manager, Last Mile Operations
Responsibilities
Team Overview
The team's mission is to improve delivery experience while minimizing costs from Fulfillment by TikTok (FBT) via seamless integrated FBT product solution and operation.
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Solutions Manager to support strategic and operational initiatives within the Last Mile Operations team. This role will focus on driving internal logistics projects, improving operational processes, coordinating cross-functional implementations, and supporting network scalability across transportation and fulfillment operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong project management capabilities, logistics operation knowledge, and experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced e-commerce or supply chain environment.
Responsibilities
Project & Solutions Management
- Lead and support internal logistics and operational projects across last mile and transportation functions
- Manage implementation and onboarding of new logistics service providers, carriers, and operational solutions
- Coordinate cross-functional project timelines, deliverables, testing, and go-live readiness
- Support SOP development and process standardization for new operational initiatives
Transportation & Air Freight Operations
- Support air freight related operational projects, including expedited shipment coordination and process optimization
- Coordinate warehouse-to-delivery operational handoffs to ensure smooth execution across different logistics stages
- Work closely with warehouse, transportation, procurement, and operations teams to improve operational efficiency
Capacity Planning & Data Analysis
- Analyze operational performance, carrier capacity, shipment trends, and network utilization
- Support last mile carrier capacity planning and peak season forecasting
- Develop operational dashboards, KPI tracking, and reporting tools
- Identify operational gaps and recommend scalable solutions to improve service quality and reduce costs
Cross-functional Coordination
- Partner with Operations, Planning, Product, Procurement, Finance, and external service providers to drive project execution
- Manage issue resolution and operational escalations during project implementation
- Facilitate regular project reviews, status updates, and stakeholder communications
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis, KPI reporting, and operational planning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce, fulfillment, transportation, or last mile logistics
- Familiarity with carrier onboarding and vendor implementation processes
- Experience with capacity planning, network planning, or transportation forecasting
- Knowledge of air freight operations or expedited logistics is a plus
- SQL/Tableau/Power BI experience is a plus
- Exposure to cross-functional operational projects preferred
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $109440 - $198360 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
