TikTok Shop Social Media Content & Marketing Operations (Third-party Associate, Japan)

Responsibilities

About the Role
This position sits in the TikTok Shop Japan Marketing team and centres on content creation and account operation for official SNS channels, extending from information gathering and data management to performance analysis and improvement. The team is looking for an execution-oriented person who can not only plan and direct but also personally produce and run content and drive PDCA based on performance data.

Key Responsibilities
• SNS Content Production: plan, shoot and edit short-form video for TikTok and similar platforms; create on-screen text (telops), captions and SNS copy; research SNS trends and competitor content; produce simple static images and creative assets.
• Official SNS Account Operation: manage posting setup, schedules and the content calendar; monitor posts, comments and trends; manage the production-to-posting workflow, including internal reviews and approvals.
• Data Analysis & PDCA: aggregate metrics such as Views, Engagement and Follower Growth; analyse per-post performance and prepare simple weekly / monthly reports; build hypotheses from the analysis and improve content.
• Marketing Operation Support: gather and organise information on sellers, products and campaigns; manage data and creative assets in Excel / Spreadsheet; provide administrative and progress support for marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
• Hands-on work experience personally planning and producing short-form video; Shooting skills with a smartphone and basic video editing using tools.
• Experience continuously operating SNS accounts for a company, brand, media outlet or as an individual; Ability to write natural Japanese SNS copy and captions.
• Data aggregation and management skills in Excel: SUM / COUNT / IF, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Filter and deduplication.
• Track record of reviewing posting results numerically and running hypothesis → execution → verification → improvement.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, assets and schedules accurately and at speed.
• English language ability (working knowledge or above) - regular collaboration with regional partners.
• Chinese required for daily collaboration with China-based product and operations teams

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience operating official SNS accounts for a company or brand.
• Operation / production experience at an SNS or digital marketing agency.
• SNS / content production experience at an EC or D2C brand.
• Experience or strong interest in Beauty / Fashion / Lifestyle / Entertainment / EC.
• Experience with creative tools.
