TikTok Shop - Senior Strategy & Operations Analyst (Seller Experience) - EMEA
Responsibilities
The Business Planning & Operations team take a strategic approach to driving impact cross-functionally across TikTok. They work with multiple business units and senior stakeholders including, but not limited to, Category, Partnerships, Strategy, Governance & Experience and Data Science. This team drives forward business growth and operational efficiency by providing significant business diagnosis and practical solutions through the use of analytical insights.

To drive sustainable growth within the European market by balancing Operating Efficiency, Merchant Experience, and Governance Health. You will optimize platform mechanisms and lead strategic initiatives to ensure long-term merchant retention, high-quality GMV expansion, and the development of a scalable, compliant merchant ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve Merchant Operating Efficiency: Map the end-to-end merchant journey (Onboarding → Listing → Fulfillment → Marketing → After-sales) to identify localized bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies.
- Elevate Merchant Experience: Utilize a data-driven approach to monitor and enhance merchant satisfaction and platform sentiment across diverse European regions.
- Cross-functional Governance & Integration: Act as the horizontal lead within Strategy & Ops, orchestrating collaboration between Compliance, Governance, Logistics, and Category Management to streamline merchant policies and workflows.

- Strategic Project Management: Execute high-stakes projects for key accounts or high-risk merchant segments, ensuring alignment with European market standards.
- Insights & Knowledge Institutionalisation: Conduct root-cause analysis on success/failure cases to build structured frameworks and best practices for the European theatre.
- Merchant Experience Governance: Establish and facilitate monthly/quarterly business reviews (MBR/QBR) to iterate on merchant-facing processes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Professional experience in Strategic Analysis, E-commerce Operations, Project Management, or Platform Governance
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of e-commerce platform ecosystems and service partner operating models. Proven ability to independently design and execute complex strategic initiatives.
- Proficient in Excel for data analysis and modelling, with the ability to independently extract, clean, and analyze data.
- Fluent in English as this is the Company's working language.
