TikTok Shop - Logistics Risk Strategist

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Logistics Risk Strategist to join our global risk team.
As a subject-matter expert for logistics risk, you will translate complex carrier operations into scalable, system-level risk strategies. You will work closely with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to safeguard the integrity of TikTok Shop logistics ecosystem across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Decode carrier operational logic, pricing mechanisms (Zone/DIM), and data transmission standards (EDI/API) across major logistics service providers (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx).
- Collaborate with Logistics and Tech teams to transform raw carrier data into structured, actionable risk signals.
- Design and refine detection frameworks for risks such as logistics fraud, shipment integrity issues, and carrier billing abuse.
- Lead deep-dive analytical investigations into complex fraud cases and translate findings into scalable strategy improvements.
- Iterate logistics compliance policies to balance risk control with sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- +3 years of relevant experience in Logistics Risk or Supply Chain, including at least 2 years of experience in supporting US e-commerce markets.
- Deep knowledge of USPS/UPS/FedEx networks (3PL/4PL, first-mile and last-mile delivery).
- Proven track record in diagnosing complex logistics fraud or systemic operational issues.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English are required for this role, including an ability to communicate business terminology with ease; you will be collaborating extensively with partner teams and support cross-border logistics operations based in China. This collaboration is necessary to support strategy alignment and drive improvement to the team's operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong SQL proficiency preferred.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $100320 - $185554 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
