Responsibilities
TikTok Shop Supply Chain & Logistics team is seeking experienced talents. The team is dedicated to innovating and streamlining TikTok Shop's transportation network and this pivotal role is at the forefront of shaping scalable and efficient transportation strategies.
This role is responsible for end-to-end compliance management of new warehouse and sorting center projects in the U.S., covering key phases including site selection, solution design, and installation & implementation.
It requires a solid understanding of U.S. regulations across construction, electrical systems, networking, and equipment installation. You will work closely with government authorities, cross-functional teams, and automation vendors to ensure compliance and drive successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Participate in early-stage planning of warehouse and fulfillment/sorting centers. During the solution design phase, review and ensure compliance of automation equipment layout, electrical systems, network setup, and installation plans.
- Collaborate with vendors to align with U.S. regulatory requirements and optimize solutions.
- Conduct site due diligence during the site selection phase, including zoning, power capacity, fire safety, and network infrastructure. Support pre-approval processes with local authorities.
- Oversee compliance during construction and equipment installation. Monitor on-site inspections, manage phased acceptance processes, and proactively resolve compliance issues to ensure smooth project delivery.

- Act as the primary liaison with U.S. regulatory bodies (e.g., building, fire, electrical authorities), managing permit applications, communications, and final inspections. Maintain proper documentation and compliance records.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience, with familiarity in U.S. warehouse or sorting center project workflows and regulations (construction, electrical, networking, equipment safety, etc.).
- Experience working with U.S. local authorities on permitting, compliance, and project acceptance is a strong plus.
- Background with automation logistics vendors (e.g., Hikrobot, HAI Robotics, CIMC) or experience in logistics infrastructure/project implementation is preferred.
- Able to independently collaborate with global teams, vendors, and government agencies.
- Strong capabilities in solution review, on-site compliance management, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $109440 - $198360 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
