Responsibilities

TikTok Shop Supply Chain & Logistics team is seeking experienced talents. The team is dedicated to innovating and streamlining TikTok Shop's transportation network and this pivotal role is at the forefront of shaping scalable and efficient transportation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and layout of the national/regional sorting and distribution center network. In alignment with business growth strategy, develop mid- to long-term plans for network build-out, optimization, and expansion to improve transit efficiency and network coverage.
- Oversee end-to-end operations of the distribution/sorting system, including daily center operations, service level performance, sorting accuracy, cost control, and safety & compliance. Define key operational KPIs such as transit lead time, sorting accuracy, damage rate, and loading utilization, and drive continuous performance improvement.
- Build and continuously improve a standardized operating model for distribution centers. Develop operating procedures, work instructions, contingency plans, and management standards, and ensure consistent execution across all centers to enable standardized and refined operations.
- Lead organizational and talent development for the distribution network, including hiring, selection, development, performance management, and incentive design for key leadership roles such as regional distribution heads and distribution center managers, building a high-performing execution-driven team.
- Own cost control and budget management for the distribution network, including annual budgeting for labor, equipment, energy consumption, facilities, and other operating expenses. Drive cost efficiency and ROI improvement through lean operations, technology upgrades, and resource integration.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources and work closely with transportation, warehousing, network planning, IT, HR, and administrative teams to resolve major operational bottlenecks, such as peak volume surges, extreme weather disruptions, equipment upgrades, and system enhancements, ensuring stable and resilient network operations.
- Establish data monitoring and analytics capabilities for distribution operations. Leverage data insights to identify operational gaps and promote the adoption of digital tools to support data-driven and scientific decision-making.
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the distribution network in accordance with national logistics regulations and company policies. Build robust risk identification, inspection, and remediation mechanisms to minimize safety incidents involving people, goods, and equipment.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative operating models in distribution and logistics. Drive intelligent and automated upgrades of distribution centers, such as automated sorting systems and optimization of WMS/EMS platforms.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5+ years of operations management experience in the logistics industry, including at least 5 years in distribution/sortation center operations or logistics network management.
- Strong knowledge of distribution center operating processes, operating models, and management best practices, with solid experience in cost control, service level management, and efficiency optimization.
- Proven people management and leadership skills, with the ability to build high-performing management teams and drive collaboration across regions and functions.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, able to identify operational issues through data analysis and develop targeted improvement plans; proficient with common office and data analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing or overseeing a nationwide or large-scale regional distribution network.
- In-depth understanding of express delivery, freight, or supply chain logistics networks, including network planning and transit time optimization.
- Familiarity with logistics industry regulations and safety management standards, with demonstrated experience in compliance and risk management.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $159120 - $316800 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
