About the team:
The TikTok Shop Creative Team is dedicated to crafting visual and UX designs that enhance the user experience on TikTok Shop for various campaigns, social media initiatives, and more. This design team consists of globally recognized visual designers, 3D specialists, motion designers, and UX designers. Our team members possess a profound enthusiasm for TikTok as a platform, along with in-depth expertise. We are brimming with innovative concepts that will drive the product forward into the future.
Responsibilities:
- Concept Development: Demonstrates strong conceptual thinking capabilities. Comprehends the operational requirements and objectives of E-Commerce. Collaborates with operation and marketing strategists through brainstorming sessions to formulate the core narratives for the concept.

- Assist Art Direction: Employs industry-leading production practices. Keeps abreast of the latest trends, resources, and innovations in creative design, thereby stretching the boundaries and enhancing the creative output of TikTok Shop's creative design.
- Campaign Key Visual Execution: Translates the core concept into visual form, develops the key visual elements and associated visual assets, leveraging tools such as Figma, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and others. Contributes to the establishment of visual guidelines.
- Maintenance of Design Assets System: Participates in and sustains the TikTok Shop Visual Identity guidelines and assets library.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Creative design experiences in tech companies or design agencies
- 1-3 years experience visual design or art direction
- A portfolio of best-in-class creativity that connects brands with audiences digitally and beyond
- Experience working on a tight production schedule and translating ideas into action
- A depth of knowledge in digital culture and the audiences that populate them
- Profound understanding of visual design elements, color theory, and composition principles, along with a keen sensitivity to aesthetic nuances and seasonal trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degrees of visual design required - visual communication
- Ability to think clearly and contribute to strategic discussions during the entire design process, from concept through completion
- Proficiency in developing graphics for key visual components and associated extended materials.
- Possession of 3D and motion design skills is considered an advantage.
- Mandatory comprehension and strict compliance with brand identity and guidelines.
- Competence in operating a comprehensive suite of creative software and AI tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail. Capacity to deliver high-quality, refined products within stringent deadlines, demonstrating strong attention to detail and effective workload prioritization.
- Experience in working under a compressed production schedule and effectively translating conceptual ideas into actionable tasks.
- Aptitude for rapid learning and seamless application of new knowledge and skills within a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, coupled with the ability to design and articulate concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $96000 - $151 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
