TikTok Shop - Category Creator Specialist

TikTok Shop is looking for a collaborative and strategic thinker to drive category growth through cross-functional partnerships, strategy design, and project management.

The Category Creator Specialist is responsible for driving content strategy and community engagement for TikTok's US Commerce business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive creator marketing strategy that is aligned with our merchants' audience reach, engagement, and conversion goals.
- Recruit creators who align with our merchants' values, target audience, and product offerings.
- Develop effective creator briefing templates and materials to accelerate the production process. Manage the creator sampling process from start to end, and measure/optimize availability, speed, and conversion.
- Own creator-facing engagements for merchants and partners with category managers to resolve issues. Develop the optimal process to execute at scale as the business grows.
- Monitor and analyze creator-generated content and performance data to build best-practice models for content mix (brand, creator, paid), scale, and optimization.
- Work directly with category managers to prevent and resolve any creator issues relating to merchant side operations.
- Develop the optimal process to execute at scale as the business grows. Maintain a pulse on popular products with the category, current e-commerce tactics and overall industry trends.
- Collaborate with fellow TikTok Creator teams to share best practices and identify new resources, tools, and program opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s):
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce and/or content creation-related companies.
- Experience in influencer or creator marketing, digital marketing, or content commerce. Strong network and familiarity with creators, creator agencies, affiliate sampling programs.
- Experience partnering with brands or commerce platforms to execute, optimize, or scale their influencer and affiliate programs.
- Proven track record of successfully servicing accounts and working with experts in industry trends, emerging creators/the creator ecosystem, and retail seasonal flow to drive content commerce.

- Ability to analyze data and extract meaningful insights.
Preferred Qualification(s):
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Attention to detail and out of the box creative thinking. Ability to thrive in a rapid and often ambiguous environment with a growth mindset.
- Experience with content creation, video production and editing is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience of live shopping is a plus.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115520 - $209380 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
