TikTok Shop AM Operations Specialist (Life Style - Home & Living / FMCG / Electronics) - Japan (Third-party Associate)

About the Team
The TikTok Shop Operations team is building an efficient and diverse content-commerce ecosystem, with sub-teams collaborating closely to maximize value and solve problems for sellers, creators, and users. The Life Style team focuses on Home & Living, FMCG, and Electronics categories, supporting sellers with day-to-day operations, product listing, content-driven sales activation, and campaign preparation. In this role, you will support Account Managers (AMs) end-to-end - covering BD (seller acquisition), seller operations, data preparation, campaign prep, and internal coordination - so that the team's workstreams run smoothly. It's a fast-moving environment where you'll gain concrete experience in e-commerce, content, and data operations.

Key Responsibilities
• BD & Seller Operations Support (40%): Run outbound BD outreach (email / phone) and support seller onboarding; check inventory levels and delivery information; extract and report on sales and performance data; support day-to-day seller operations, listing reviews, and issue handling under AM direction.
• Campaign & Promotion Support (30%): Confirm and list target products, communicate with sellers, send submission reminders, assist with application workflows in internal tools such as Lark, track campaign progress and schedules, and process campaign-review data within the team.
• Affiliate & Creator Coordination Support (20%): Organize product line-ups for creators, handle their requests, match sellers with creators, and provide first-line responses to basic inquiries.
• Operations Support - Materials & Meetings (10%): Produce materials (slides, data organization), prepare regular meetings and take minutes, provide administrative support across team projects, and escalate to related internal teams as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
• 1+ year of e-commerce operations or e-commerce support experience preferred.
• Proven track record of accurate administrative work such as data entry, inventory management, and product registration.
• Basic communication and coordination experience with clients or internal / external stakeholders (team members, sellers, agencies, etc.).
• Ability to execute multiple tasks accurately and quickly following clear instructions and SOPs, with a strong sense of urgency.
• Intermediate OA skills in Word and Excel (PowerPoint / Access are nice-to-have at an introductory level/ hands-on experience with at least one of VLOOKUP, filters, or PivotTables.).
• Working-level English for internal materials (translation tools acceptable). Comfort operating English-language systems and dashboards at a read-and-write level.
• Immediate contributor able to take ownership of daily operations from day one.

Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on operations experience on major e-commerce platforms.
• Experience in ad operations, campaign preparation, or sales-promotion support.
• Genuine interest in and understanding of social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube; regular users of TikTok / Instagram / e-commerce platforms are especially welcome.
• Experience supporting creators or running affiliate programs.
• Prior exposure to startup or venture-style environments with a track record of driving operational improvements.
