In this regard, the Governance and Experience team of Local Services seeks to preserve trust and uplift the user experience for TikTok Local Services, by designing and implementing end-to-end programmes that enable a safe, trustworthy and thriving international marketplace.
Responsibilities
1. Devise and launch data-driven governance strategies to ensure compliance, trust and health of the Merchant ecosystem of TikTok Local Services.
2. Working with Algorithm Machine Learning Engineers, establish algorithm and model strategies to increase the automation of our detection and enforcement of risky issues on our platform. Ensure that the automated detection and enforcement is efficient and accurate.

3. Utilise the latest GPT and LLM techniques to increase model construction efficiency and automation.
4. Analyse issues regarding automated detection based on data and user feedback; collaborate with cross-functional teams like Algorithm, Product, Engineering, Legal teams, etc.; and implement measures to enhance ecosystem health and reduce risks.
5. Manage risks by balancing alongside enabling growth for legitimate merchants and businesses. Work with relevant stakeholders to understand the painpoints and growth challenges of Local Services' merchants and businesses. Ensure a good merchant and business experience while governing risks.
6. Build data monitoring fundamentals, and monitor the health of the ecosystem through investigative methods.
7. Conduct case checks to enhance accuracy of detection and enforcement measures, and respond to emergencies and conduct ad-hoc investigations as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. 3 years of demonstrated hands-on and in-depth experience in driving data-driven governance and experience programmes within O2O, Local Services, E-commerce, strategy consulting, operations management, content risks, seller risks, seller operations, or related governance & experience programmes, e.g., regulating Merchant risks, or other O2O or trust and safety programmes.
2. Bachelor's degree and above, preferably in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields.
3. Possesses strategic thinking, as well as programme management and communication skills, with the ability to manage and push complex projects, as well as influence multiple cross-functional teams.
4. Experience in Model Strategy and Construction Techniques. Knowledge of the latest LLM training techniques such as SFT, RM, RLHF will be advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Strong data interpretation or analytical skills are required. Proficiency in utilising querying and analytical tools, and conducting data analysis (minimally SQL) is advantageous.
2. Proactive, independent and driven; able to thrive in ambiguity and handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to develop and communicate complex strategies in writing.
