Responsibilities
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our Tech and Product PMO team based in San Jose. You'll drive the end-to-end tasks that keep the systems behind TikTok running and work with various team members to deliver best user experiences and highest-standard user privacy. As a TPM, you'll be the bridge between various teams and drive collaboration tasks across teams.

Work closely with cross-functional teams from Product, Engineering, and Sales to drive the end-to-end delivery of new products, services, and/or features to market.
Manage a variety of complex, cross-functional programs and lead all aspects of assigned programs delivery.
Create and maintain the Roadmap for the teams by working with the respective Tech and Product leaders.
Define the way of driving the programs and constantly find ways to improve the process in a data-driven manner.
Prepare the project schedule, define the milestones, and be the owner of the collaboration process and tools.
Track and report progress, identify and mitigate risks, and remove blockers.
Ensure products and applications release to market smoothly.
Mentor and help develop the team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a technical educational background, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
3 years of relevant work experience in project/program management or software development leadership.
Must have at least 1 year of experience in each of the following:
- Leading Agile development processes
- Managing software development projects, including building development processes and coordinating release schedules.
- Creating and maintaining software development roadmaps for engineering teams.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and gathering feedback to build programs that support customer revenue, growth, and retention.
- Planning and executing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
Experience operating in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities across time zones.
Passion for problem-solving, process optimization, and delivering results in a data-driven and iterative way.
Growth mindset with a willingness to take initiative and adapt in a constantly evolving environment.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156800 - $304000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
