The Data Platform team works on building data infrastructures and data products to support business engineering teams at TikTok.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the construction of offline and real-time data warehouses
- In-depth understanding of business and product and reasonably abstract business requirements, work closely with the business team and give full play of the data value
- Responsible for planning and building up an industry-leading data warehouse team, and providing full play to the value of data
- Responsible for communication of demand and data development project management

- Familiar with data warehouse implementation methodology, in-depth understanding of data warehouse system, and have supported actual business scenarios

- Sensitive to business, able to quickly understand the business background, and have excellent ability to integrate technology and business
- More than 5 years of data warehouse or big data development, rich experience in real-time or offline data system construction
- Hands-on experience in building scalable data solutions with big data processing and distributed storage engines, such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Elastic Search, Druid, ClickHouse, etc.
- Experience in the role of big data team leader is preferred
- Experience in data system construction with complex business scenarios is preferred
- 5+ years experience of engineering leadership in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $210000 - $358000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
