Tech Lead, AI Agents for Creation Tools
Responsibilities
We are building the next generation of AI-native creation tools powered by intelligent AI agents. Our mission is to transform how people create by embedding agentic AI directly into creative workflows-from AI-powered camera effect generation to AI-driven video editing and storytelling.
Our team operates at the intersection of AI research, systems engineering, and creative product development, translating advances in agentic AI into scalable, real-world creation tools used by millions of creators. We work closely with product and design partners to ensure that sophisticated AI systems result in simple, powerful, and intuitive creative experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical direction of AI agent systems for creation tools
- Design agent frameworks that support planning, reasoning, memory, and tool use across creative workflows
- Build intelligent agents that translate user intent into multi-step creative actions such as generation, editing, and refinement
- Drive integration of large language models, multimodal models, generative models, and video models into unified agent systems
- Partner closely with research, product, and design teams to deliver scalable user-facing capabilities
- Own system-level decisions related to reliability, scalability, performance, and long-term evolution
- Mentor engineers and researchers and set technical standards across the team
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of related industry experience
- Strong experience building AI agent systems or LLM-based applications
- Deep understanding of agent architectures including planning, memory, tool use, and multi-agent coordination
- Hands-on experience designing or leading AI agents that can autonomously use tools or generate and execute code, such as tool-use agents, coding agents, or task-oriented autonomous systems
- Experience delivering AI-powered user-facing products
- Strong system design skills and technical leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in AI-powered creative tools, camera effects, or video systems
- Experience with multimodal models spanning text, image, video, or audio
- Proven track record leading complex AI systems from concept to production
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $208800 - $438000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
