Responsibilities

The Global Monetization Product & Technology (GMPT) team is the product and engineering engine behind TikTok's advertising business. We build the full stack of TikTok's monetization products. The Monetization Strategy & Operations team serves as the central strategy team for the Head of Monetization and supports global product leaders across GMPT. We provide research and strategic insights to inform product decisions, track emerging AI trends, and support company planning, business reviews, and executive-level communications.

A key focus of the team is Monetization AI strategy, understanding how AI is transforming the advertising value chain and identifying product and revenue opportunities across areas such as AI × Sales, AI × Commerce, and AI × Ad Creative.

Responsibilities
- Analyze key business and revenue drivers, identify business challenges, and uncover product and growth opportunities across the advertising business.
- Conduct external market research and internal business analysis, synthesizing findings into actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.
- Assess how AI is transforming the advertising value chain and identify product and revenue opportunities across areas such as Sales, Commerce, and Ad Creative.
- Track emerging AI and industry trends and translate their implications into strategic updates for leadership.
- Develop materials for key product decisions, company planning, business reviews, and other leadership discussions.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Data Science teams to drive high-priority strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, tech corporate strategy, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, market analysis skills
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems, communicate clear recommendations, and manage multiple projects.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and executive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA preferred
- Experience or strong interest in AI, digital advertising, e-commerce, or social media monetization.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional stakeholders.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $108000 - $220400 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
