We are looking for entrepreneurial spirits to join our Monetization Strategy & Operations team. You will have a ground floor opportunity to shape monetization efforts for TikTok. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future.
The Monetization Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics and financial modeling, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and drive strategies and critical initiatives to grow the business
- Set expectations for how well the business should be performing, such as annual revenue planning (in the long-term)
- Actively manage business performance to identify and remediate issues; communicate to key stakeholders via operational cadences including: regular Business Reviews and Project-based Business Deep-Dives
- Screen the market for analytical insights on competing media platforms, large global accounts, and shed light on TikTok's future growth strategy

- 3+ years of strategy, business operations, investment banking, consulting, or related analytical experience.
- Solid research background and ability to really drive insights of the industry
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to use data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc.
- Rich experience in cross-team project cooperation and communication, able to work with multinational teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the technical sector, especially in digital advertising and e-commerce is a plus.
- Self-driven, curious, passionate about being involved in the business, growing fast, and able to adapt to a high work pace
- Skilled project manager. Team-player with the ability to manage expectations across time-zones and cultures
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $125000 - $210000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
