Strategic Analyst - Global E-commerce
Responsibilities
Team Introduction
Monetization Office is the strategic team of Douyin Group, providing support for Douyin Group's various business lines with the perspectives of strategy, user research, data science, macro research, etc., helping the business to grow more healthily and steadily at all stages, and becoming the most reliable strategic partner
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the team in conducting external industry research related to global e-commerce, including market trend analysis and major competitor benchmarking;
- Based on key project topics, perform data analysis on TikTok Shop and identify critical bottlenecks hindering business development;
- From both user and merchant perspectives, conduct experience analysis and customer research on TikTok Shop's existing products, compare with external products, and extract key insights to support business growth;
- Support the communication and coordination of key priorities for the management team
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Solid desk research foundation in data analysis, strong data sensitivity, and prior experience in e-commerce or similar industries (e.g., business analysis, user research) is preferred;

- Excellent ability to collect and organize external information, and to distill key facts from complex data or materials;
- High levels of written and oral fluency in Mandarin and English is required to effectively communicate and collaborate across regions, including teams based in Mainland China
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118560 - $209380 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
