The Sports Product Team at TikTok is dedicated to creating a global platform that drives sports discovery, fan engagement, and vibrant community culture. Our goal is to be the primary destination for sports enthusiasts worldwide. We are seeking an experienced product strategy & operation manager with a passion for solving complex, cross-time-zone challenges. Ideal candidates have a spirit of exploration, actively identifying user needs and pain points, and driving innovative solutions to create impactful opportunities in the sports content ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
1. Support TikTok's sports content distribution initiatives, including but not limited to optimizing sports video distribution strategies, ensuring traffic allocation for high-quality content and creators, and supporting key sports supply areas. Own and drive key business metrics such as sports watch time per user and priority content supply growth.
2. Conduct deep analysis of business data and user behavior to identify insights and propose strategic improvements, working closely with recommendation algorithm teams to continuously enhance the sports content consumption experience.
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with upstream and downstream teams, including algorithm engineering, data analytics, and vertical operations, to effectively align resources, execute strategies, and achieve business objectives.
4. Analyze creator ecosystem data to identify gaps and opportunities, and formulate actionable strategies to improve creator retention and activity.
5. Collaborate with product, data, and regional teams to implement strategies and build sustainable creator ecosystems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s):
1. Bachelor's degree or above, with 3+ years of experience in strategy operations, product management, or data analysis.
2. Excellent cross-cultural understanding, communication and persuasion, organizational coordination, and execution skills. Results-driven.

Preferred Qualification(s):
1. Preferred experience includes content strategy, traffic allocation/scheduling strategies, recommendation systems, data analytics, algorithm-related projects, or a background in computer science or related fields.
2. Strong logical thinking, ownership mindset, and goal orientation, with solid data analysis skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $110223 - $248400 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
