About the Team
The Multimedia Arch-Live Arch-Client-Pull SDK team is dedicated to building the world's leading live streaming platform, providing hundreds of millions of users with ultra-low-latency, ultra-smooth, intelligently-adapted live streaming experience, empowering e-commerce, gaming, social and other diversified scenarios. We are looking for excellent software engineers to join us. You will develop and maintain the live client SDK to support TikTok's live streaming capabilities, focusing on stability improvement, performance improvement, user experience improvement of the live SDK, as well as the advancement of live streaming technology. Responsibilities
- Work with the team to develop mobile audio and video features in the live player SDK, and help improve performance.
- Participate in feature requirements reviewing, code writing, and performance optimization.
- Learn and apply the team's coding specifications and develop best practices.
Contribute to the construction of automation testing systems that help ensure the quality and stability of the SDK.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Individuals who are completing a Bachelor's/Masters' degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Solid foundation in mobile C/C++ or Java.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging/troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
- Interest in audio/video systems and a willingness to quickly ramp up in the domain.

Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework, personal projects, or open-source contributions involving systems programming, multimedia, or performance optimization.
- Exposure to audio and video processing on either iOS or Android.
- Familiarity with at least one live protocol, such as RTC, RTMP, DASH, or QUIC.
- Awareness of coding specifications and best practices that improve software development productivity.
- Exposure to automation testing or building tools that ensure software quality and stability.
- Passion for self-learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
